Original Internet Design Philosophy

The Internet was originally designed to be that way, based on the model of “a group of mutually trusting users attached to a transparent network”. This concept reflects the early days of the internet, where a smaller group of researchers and academics used the network. There was a shared understanding and respect for the purpose of the internet, leading to a more open and collaborative environment.
